Our client is looking for an experienced Information Technology Program Manager to join our growing team in Northern Virginia. You will manage a portfolio of existing projects as well as support the pursuit of new customers and workstreams.
The ideal candidate will have a diverse background managing technology projects for Federal customers and the ambition to build a portfolio of increasingly challenging technical projects.

Location: Hybrid remote in Arlington VA
The successful candidate will be accountable to:
Manage all aspects of a diverse array of existing and new projects for our government customers
Identification and retention of talent; oversee development of junior staff and working with Human Resources to developing internal advancement pathways
Ownership of contract performance and customer relationship to include Profit & Loss
Act as Transition Manager for new projects; oversee the transition period upon award to include cooperating with incumbent personnel and creating transition documents for customer review and acceptance (Phase-in Plan, OPSEC SOPs, etc)
Primary point of contact for the customer regarding portfolio performance
Managing all contract activities including requirements, operations, personnel, budgets, justifications, and reporting; this includes technical initiatives of varying timelines and scopes
Ensure completion of deliverables and quality performance against program requirements
Perform risk management
Create and implement long-term strategies, roadmaps, and monitor execution
Manage program budget
Consults and advises internal leadership and external stakeholders
Leading internal team meetings and customer updates
Ensures stakeholders have actionable and timely information
Ensures all team members maintain DoD IT/security-related training requirements within first 30 days of award and annual thereafter
Leading a collaborative team including senior federal officials to deliver solutions
Collaboration with the Growth Team; participating and contributing to business development endeavors such as RFP/RFQ reviews, proposal development, drafting concept and white papers and other efforts as directed
Development of new capabilities based on observed market and client gaps, particularly in the areas of RPA, Data Analytics, and Cloud Optimization
Identification of organic business development opportunities
Experience, Education, and Training
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
PMP (required)
Minimum 5 years federal contracting experience directly managing IT program operations and personnel
10 or more years of overall IT leadership experience within a federal contracting framework
Demonstrated experience leading teams of 50 or more team members
Demonstrated ability to develop & retain work force
Experience leading multi-component project teams (e.g., Systems, Web services, Cybersecurity, Helpdesk)
IAT Level II certification is strongly preferred (e.g. CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
Superior verbal and written communication skills
